This website is a work in progress. Over a period of 12 years and over 40 trips to Madagascar, I have collected 40,000 photographs of the Great Island. A land of great diversity within and very unique when compared to the outside world. Perpetual political change and external influence on the natural resources has changed the landscapes more so than the people.

In fact, many of these views no longer exist in the pure simplicity shown here. The faces are, of course, older now and witness to the landscapes changing with development not always in a good way.
